The 10th Africa Animal Welfare Conference - 2026

The 10th Africa Animal Welfare Conference - Action 2026 is planned to be held at the Golden Peacock Hotel, Lusaka, Zambia, from 5 - 7 October 2026.

The conference will be a hybrid event comprising in- person attendance and live-streamed for virtual participants.

Delegates attending in-person will be expected to arrive in Zambia on 4th and depart on 8th October 2026.

Conference Venue (Mode of Participation):

1. In-Person attendance (Physical) - Lusaka, Zambia.
2. Virtual attendance - live-streamed for virtual participants

Conference Theme: Dialogue to Action-Collaborative Implementation for Animal Welfare, Climate Adaptation and Sustainable Development in Africa.

Conference registration fee (Excluding accommodation and flight tickets):

In-person attendance - USD 100

Virtual attendance - USD 25

• The above registration fee includes the following:
  • Conference attendance for the 3 days
  • Conference material
  • Lunch, tea and snacks during the conference
• The above registration fee excludes the following:
  • Flight tickets to Lusaka, Zambia
  • Accommodation during the conference
  • Breakfast and dinner during the conference
  • Daily transport to and from the conference venue
  • Visa application fees

The following rates apply for a standard room accommodation.

1. Bed & Breakfast and airport transfers @ USD 120 USD per Person per Night => USD 480 for 4 Nights per Person

2. Bed & Breakfast, Dinner, and airport transfers @ USD 134 USD per Person per Night - USD 536 for 4 Nights Per Person

Please note the following:
* For in-person delegates, lunches and teas will be served at the conference venue.

* In-person delegates who do not book and pay accommodation with us are required to cater for their own accommodation, breakfast & dinner as well as daily transport to and from the conference venue.

* All delegates participating in-person are required to cater for their visa application fees and flight tickets to and from Lusaka, Zambia.

*Delegates participating virtually will receive a Zoom Link a week to the conference.
